President Trump renewed his threat to rip down the Kennedy Center if his name is not added to the building, hours before a federal judge ruled he cannot demolish it without 30 days notice. A president's prerogative over a federal institution, or an abuse of power over a beloved arts center?

The threat came the same week the Kennedy Center's board voted to close the building, citing its physical condition and finances.
